People with disabilities, while desiring to serve in a meaningful way in their neighborhoods, often need guidance, accessibility, project ideas and outlets to serve. They should not be void of the joy of giving kindness and serving. With computers they can be reached and reach out with the help of fellow Friendship Lions.
Friendship Lions internet club belongs to the world’s largest service organization, Lions Clubs International. What makes our club different is Lions have the choice and convenience of attending meetings on-line. They may choose whether or not to serve at a fund raising project and not need to travel to attend meetings. To remain in good standing our Members must respond to our monthly meeting email within 5 days. These meetings contain reports and are email in the middle of the month.
All Friendship Lions Club business is done be email. Members may choose to attend social meeting held from time to time. Elected officers will be responsible for submitting reports to Lions Club International and 5M5 District leaders. Members will pay annual dues; will vote on how funds are used and how funds are derived. Members will elect officers and offer suggestions on how to serve our communities projects and assist less fortunate individuals at hand.
No funds from projects are paid to members or officers of our club. All funds from public projects go to support Lions Club International and those we vote to help. Friendship Lions needs you, your computer, your time and your kindness to serve.
